I invite you into the studio’s cosy, homely surroundings, where we document, present, and share my inspiration and my work.
Here, visitors can see works from my most recent exhibitions: WOMEN OF THE SEA, Nymindegab Museum; WOMEN WHO CHANGE THE WORLD, Esbjerg Art Museum, among others; THINK OF ALL YOU HOLD DEAR, to paint is to hope, Himmerlands Art Museum and the West Jutland Art Pavilion. In these solo exhibitions, I have worked with the interplay between nature and humanity and incorporated the 13th UN Sustainable Development Goal, the stewardship of the Earth’s resources, which is a concern for my children and therefore also a concern of mine.

Since 2015, I have worked on the art project WOMEN WHO CHANGE THE WORLD, which supports the UN’s 5th Sustainable Development Goal on gender equality. Here, I portray female role models as well as groups of women, historical and contemporary. In the studio, you can currently see portraits of, among others, Anna Ancher, Karen Blixen, Johanne Louise Heiberg, Suzanne Brøgger, Margrethe Vestager, Puk Damsgaard, Helle Thorning-Schmidt, as well as from my most recent exhibitions: Bente Scavenius and Mia Wagner.
